	People on Lares Trail The Lares Trail is a great alternative to the traditional and sometimes overcrowded Inca Trail. It also provides the opportunity to pass through a few villages and interact with people from the area.

	Lares Trail The Lares Trail is another great alternative to the Inca Trail. The tour typically last 4 days and 3 nights, two of which are spent camping in the mountains around Machu Picchu.

	Calca Market Calca is a small town in the Calca province. We stopped here to get food and drink and orient ourselves before we started the Lares Trail.

	Lima’s Malecon and Love Park The Malecon is the promenade in the Miraflores neighborhood situated on the cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. On the promenade you will see the black and white lighthouse as well as El Parque Del Amor.
